We are honoured that you chose us for your first class! We recommend starting with one of our foundations classes (for yoga or pilates), but you are welcome to come to our all-level classes too.
Welcome! Please arrive 15 minutes early to your first class and we can register you (unless you have already booked online) and show you around.
We have everything you need at the studio, but you are welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer.
Anything comfortable, which you can move and stretch in easily. Yoga classes are done in bare feet and no shoes are allowed. For Barre classes, sometimes these are done in bare feet, but it’s worth bringing normal socks (or ballet shoes/specialized barre socks which have extra grip on the bottom).
We do not allow bags in classes, to allow enough space for everyone. We also do not allow mobile phones or electronic devices, as we want everyone to be able to switch-off from the outside world during their practice. We offer mason jars for water in the studio, to reduce the use of plastic. Feel free to bring an extra top/socks for if you get cold during sarvasana.
Towels are available for hire for £1 each.
Make sure to tell us about any relevant health issues when you sign your client health questionnaire form and speak to the teacher at the start of a class so they can suggest modifications for you.
If you are pregnant, we strongly advise that you check with your medical health professional to provide guidance around the type of physical exercise that is suitable for you. Generally, you should only practice yoga whilst pregnant, if you have an existing yoga practice and are past your first trimester (after the first 12 weeks).
If you are completely new to Yoga, we highly recommend attending our pregnancy yoga classes.
Some classes such as Power Yoga and Pilates are not suitable to Pre/Post Natal clients. If you are unsure, please give us a call and we can best advise.
We all run late sometimes, but if you arrive more than 5 minutes late to a class, we will have to turn you away, as it is disruptive for the other students and the teacher. We will try to accommodate you for another class instead.
We do not offer refunds. We have a 3-hour cancellation policy for classes (and 24-hours for 1:1s). Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged if you have a class pack/ drop-in.
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy for treatments and therapies. Cancelling within 24-hours of your appointment, will incur 100% of the appointment investment.
If you request a treatment / therapy appointment date/time change within 24-hours of your appointment, we will do our best to accommodate, however the cancellation policy may apply.
If you don’t attend a pre-booked class or late cancel on three occasions in 30 days, whatever pricing option you are on, then you will be suspended from advanced booking for 7 days (whether by email, mindbody, phone or in the studio).
We allow 14-year olds to attend our classes, but they must be accompanied by a responsible adult. 16-year olds and above are able to attend alone. For our teen yoga courses, these are open to those aged 12 and upwards.
