A dedicated student of Yoga since 2003, Youla’s intention is to provide a safe and nurturing space where students can develop an authentic and holistic practice. She believes that Yoga not only has the power to heal the physical body but also transform and help develop greater awareness. Youla’s classes are infused with philosophy, breathing techniques, meditation and sound. She carefully guides and challenges her students through creative and intelligent sequences and seeks to help them remain mindful and develop a deeper connection with themselves. Youla is particularly interested in the science of Ayurveda and somatic movement. She has been teaching Vinyasa, Hatha, restorative Yoga and meditation for the past 8 years. She has also served as a mentor on Alessandra Pecorella’s Aditya Yoga School 200-hour teacher training.
