Crania-Sacral Therapy, Aromatherapy & Pregnancy Massage, Reflexology
Lesley is a highly experienced complementary therapist qualified in Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Craniosacral therapy. She offers treatments either individually or as a combination, entirely unique to each individual, after consultation and assessment of the most beneficial approach.
“I discovered yoga and complementary therapies in my early twenties when suffering major anxiety and depression. They played a huge part in my recovery and really transformed my life. I incorporated them into my way of living and embarked on a new path, living in a more positive, less stressful way and training so that I could use my own experiences to support people who may be suffering in a similar way.
I initially trained as an Aromatherapist, and began working at West Middlesex Hospital, both with patients suffering with mental health problems and for staff. I also started treating patients suffering with stroke and MS related disabilities.
I continued to qualify as a Reflexologist and then Craniosacral therapist. Through studying, and my personal experience of pregnancy, birth and motherhood with 3 children, I became increasingly passionate about the importance and long term impact of supporting mothers and babies through this time, so completed post graduate diplomas in maternity reflexology, Craniosacral therapy for babies & children and teaching infant massage.
I feel incredibly fortunate to have a career I love so much and have enjoyed working with a wide variety of people over many years. I am particularly happy to support people with emotional issues or trauma and to work with physical & emotionally connected conditions such as migraines, insomnia or digestive disturbances, the elderly, pregnancy and babies & children.
I have come full circle from the beginning of my journey. Since yoga has always been a constant in my life and my recommendations for clients, I have recently started a British Wheel of Yoga foundation course to deepen my knowledge and bring a different dimension to my work, being particularly interested in pranayama and its potential in craniosacral therapy.”
