Charlotte Wise

Charlotte completed her Sports Science degree over 20 years ago and her journey began as a personal trainer. Her passion was running and she discovered the functional benefits of Pilates over 15 years ago, partly through endevours to prevent her own injuries. She has been teaching and advocating it ever since as a practice that can benefit literally everybody. She additionally qualified as a massage therapist and was drawn to a personal yoga practice for the spiritual and emotional benefits that asana and meditation brought to balance her very physical working life. It was a natural step to teach yoga and to share the many gifts and insights that the practice holds. A 500 hour RYT teacher, Charlotte teaches Vinyassa Yoga, Yin Yoga and Meditation but is proud to say that it is the practice and philosophy of Yin that is really where her heart lies. Charlotte continues to study annually with Paul Grilley, the Godfather of Yin, in California. Happy to be something of an anatomy geek and ‘Yinster’ Charlotte loves to teach in a way that we each understand our unique abilities and we allow our explorations on the mat to facilitate self enquiry and self acceptance, the true essence of Yoga.
