Embla Bishop
Embla strives to create a warm environment for staff and students coming through the doors. Being a performer growing up in London in a Swedish speaking home, Embla’s first West End appearance was in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (London Palladium UK). She went on to feature in two operas, La Boheme and The Magic Flute before moving to Sydney in 2009. Embla graduated from The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2016 then went on to perform in Barnum, the Circus Musical Jesus Christ Superstar, Brigadoon, Merrily We Roll Along, Oklahoma!, Princess Aurora in Sleeping Beauty and Everything’s Coming Up Sondheim.
Embla has a Level 3 in Counselling as well as being a fully qualified Pilates and Barre instructor through Barrebody Australia. Embla loves combining her in-depth knowledge of ballet, performing and anatomy to create exciting and challenging barre and pilates classes for all! She looks forward to seeing you in Richmond and answering any question you might have!
